Le Quesnoy is recorded in the war diary of my grandfather Private Oliver Everick William Olsen, of 2nd Canterbury Infantry Battalion. I had the privilege of attending the centenary of the liberation of Le Quesnoy in November 2018. A memory I hold dearly. I look forward to returning in the not too distant future.
