The Cambridge-Le Quesnoy Friendship Association

Sir Don McKinnon, the chairperson of the trust behind the NZ Liberation Museum – Te Arawhata, was a guest of the The Cambridge-Le Quesnoy Friendship Association today. With Cambridge and Le Quesnoy being twin towns, a close connection has been established between the two and Sir Don talked about the progress of the museum to invited guests including Her Excellency Laurence Beau, the French Ambassador, Susan O’Regan, Mayor of Waipa District Council, and Jo Davies-Colley the Chair of the Cambridge Community Board.

Alana Mackay, Chair of the Cambridge-Le Quesnoy Friendship Association, says as well as Susan and Jo attending the opening of the museum on October 11, Cambridge is very excited to be hosting a delegation from Le Quesnoy in November.
